How many (and what species) of living creatures
around/in/on the Pohutukawa tree?

We will record our findings on a tally chart, with some options
of what there could be. 

We went out to the pohutukawa tree at the back of the school
and found eight spiders, three ants and one slater. We used a
magnifying glass and searched on the tree, around the tree and in the
tree. We noticed that we would only find the spiders on the bark of
the tree. 

We wonder if we did this in summer  would we have more
luck finding a variety of living creatures such as birds, cicadas,
crickets, lady bugs and other things like bees and wasps.
