Persuasive Writing - Why we should have pets

We did persuasive writing. We did it about pets and I did it for having pets. Here is my work. Please leave a kind, thoughtful, and positive comment.

Overview/ Statement of position A brief statement of your view about the topic.  What you believe or want to argue.	Many people around the world have pets. I think that it is a good idea to have a pet. Also they are fun to have around!
Series of Arguments Reasons Your points supporting your view about the topic.  Your arguments to support your statement and information to support these arguments. Remember -argument -supporting detail, reasons, examples	Firstly, pets can be trained to do specific things.  For example, police dogs are trained to sniff things out. Also dogs can be trained to detect cancer or cancer cells.  Airport dogs can sniff out bad things in the bags.
	Secondly, most people with disabilities have a pet. For example, blind people have a dog to help them see where they are going. They make people with depression feel happy and comfort them. Also  I truly believe that people with disabilities should have a pet.
	Thirdly, pets are good for fitness. I believe that you should get a pet to help you keep fit. It also gives you something to do when you are bored. I think walking a dog is good fitness and fun to do.
	Finally, pets can give you food. For example Sheep = wool, cow's =milk, chickens= eggs, goats=milk. I think it is a good idea to have one of these animals because they can give you food and you do not need to buy it. In conclusion, I think having a pet is a good idea because, they help people detect cancer, good for people with disabilities, good for fitness and finally they are good to have so you can get food.
Concluding statement Summing it up.  A summary of your arguments and your view on the topic.	In conclusion we need to fix our field because we don’t have enough room to play, we need our field for sports training and games, we need the field for events like the gala, and it promotes good health and exercise.    It is vital that we have a good field at school.
